World Concern is a Christian global relief and development agency extending opportunity and hope to people facing extreme poverty

World Concern directly works in ten countries around the world. We are called to serve in some of the poorest, most remote communities in the world. Places with little or no infrastructure or resources to help the people who live there. Places that many ignore or deem unworthy because the need is too great. We recognize that nothing is impossible to the Lord. He created these people, and He has abundant life for them. As we partner with them, they are empowered to recognize their own resources to reach goals that lead to sustainable change. This strengthens the core of people, families, and communities. With the needs of survival met, people are free to dream of more and to consider the bigger questions of life. That is when the true transformation begins.

Our History & Heritage

World Concern is an International Non-Government organization based in Seattle, Washington, USA. World Concern has been working as an implementing organization in Bangladesh since 1991.

World Concern Bangladesh (WCB) has been conducting its activities since 1991 as an international non-government organization under CRISTA Ministries dba World Concern. WCB serves the most vulnerable people in extreme locations through disaster response and sustainable community development with multisector programming funded by diverse agencies. Currently, WCB has its reach in more than 15 districts and 18 subdistricts through various programming.
